How does the Cat Science Quiz work?

The quiz has 3 difficulty levels: Kitten (Easy), House Cat (Medium), and Apex Predator (Hard). Each level has 10 questions randomly selected from our question bank. Answer questions about cat behavior, health, and trivia to test your feline knowledge!

What are the cat personalities?

Based on your score, you'll be assigned one of 6 cat personalities: Orange Cat (0-20%), Curious Kitten (21-40%), House Cat (41-60%), Void Cat (61-80%), Maine Coon (81-93%), or Cat Scientist (94-100%). Each personality comes with unique traits and a fun description!

How is my score calculated?

Your score is simply the number of correct answers out of 10 questions, converted to a percentage. Each question is worth the same amount. Your personality is determined by which percentage bracket your score falls into.

Can I retake the quiz?

Accepted Answer

Yes! You can retake any quiz as many times as you like. Since questions are randomly selected, you'll get a fresh set of questions each time. Your progress (which tiers you've unlocked) is saved, but individual quiz scores are not tracked.

How do I unlock harder difficulty levels?

Accepted Answer

You start with the Kitten (Easy) tier unlocked. Complete the Easy quiz to unlock House Cat (Medium), and complete Medium to unlock Apex Predator (Hard). Your unlock progress is saved in your browser, so you won't lose it if you refresh.
